From September 19 to 21, 2019, the Annual Global Meeting of the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS 2019) was grandly held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Teng Yue, Associate Research Fellow from Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU attended IGCS 2019 for poster presentation.

More than 2,000 professionals from over 80 countries have been registered to attend the Annual Global Meeting, offering a comprehensive program that covers the latest, cutting edge information including innovative developments in surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and pathology for women with gynecological cancer.

Supported by the High-level International Conference Foundation of the hospital, Teng Yue attended the Annual Global Meeting and delivered a poster presentation on rare cases of natural pregnancy after fertility-preserved early ovarian cancer surgery, which captivated extensive interest and heated discussion among the participants, demonstrating the academic charm of young obstetricians and gynecologists of the hospital.

Established in 1985, IGCS has held 17 Annual Global Meetings, aiming to promote the social understanding of gynecological cancer through education, training and public influence. The Annual Global Meeting of IGCS is the most prestigious and influential academic conference in the field of gynecological cancer worldwide. To enhance the influence of this conference, the Annual Global Meeting of IGCS will be held every year starting from 2019.
