From September 7 to 10, 2019, 2019 World Conference on Lung Cancer (2019 WCLC) was held in Barcelona, Spain. Tian Tao, Deputy Chief Physician of Oncology Department from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, represented the research team led by Professor Nan Kejun and Professor Yao Yu to attend 2019 WCLC and delivered poster presentation.

Thousands of physicians, experts and scholars from all over the world gathered in this grand conference. WCLC is one of the world's leading academic activities in thoracic oncology, attracting all professionals in the relevant fields of oncology medicine, oncology radiology, oncology surgery, preclinical researchers and experts. Tian Tao participated in the poster presentation at the conference. In this paper, clinical data, immune parameters and survival status of 43 cases of small cell lung cancer undergoing surgical resection were retrospectively analyzed to identify PD-L1 as a negative prognostic parameter of small cell lung cancer.
