From October 23 to 28, 2018, the 51th Annual Meeting of American Society of Nephrology was held at theSan Diego Convention Center, USA. Xie Liyi, Chief Physician of Nephrology Department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (hereinafter referred to as “Hospital”), was invited to attend this meeting.
As the largest conference in the field of nephropathy in the world, the Annual Meeting of American Society of Nephrology attracted tens of thousands of scientific researchers, experts, clinicians, nurses, etc. from more than 100 countries and regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan and China to attend this grand meeting. In this meeting, it comprehensively demonstrated and exchanged the latest achievements, progress and trends in the field of nephropathy from 2017 to 2018, committing to promoting the latest academic achievements and treatment progress in the field of nephropathy worldwide. Through poster presentation, special lectures, etc., this meeting gathered international hot clinical researches, ranging from the basic to clinical research, and communicated the latest technologies and therapies for diagnosis and treatment of renal diseases.
A wall poster of Chief Physician Xie was officially selected and she also made a poster presentation at the conference about the Clinical Features and the Expression of SuPAR and ApoA-1 in Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis, which fully reflected the scientific research progress made by the staff of the Nephrology Department in the Hospital, and enhanced academic exchanges and learning of the department in the field of nephrology research.
