Three papers from Neurology Department were displayed as wall posters in annual meeting of 2018 International Alzheimer Disease

From July 22 to 26, 2018 Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) was grandly held in McCormick Place. The AAIC attracted thousands of researchers, clinical doctors and nurses from 67 countries to discuss pathogenesis, biomarkers, diagnosis in early stage, clinical treatment, rehabilitation and nursing of Alzheimer Disease.

At the meeting, three papers drafted by team of Professor Qu Qiumin from Neurology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were adopted for wall-poster display. These papers were Research on Mechanism of Intracerebral Aβ Aggregation Caused by Sleep Deprivation written by PhD Candidate Zhao Beiyu, elaborating the mechanism of sleep deprivation promoting AD from the aspect of basic experiment, Relationship between Plasma Β Amyloid Protein Level and Cognitive Disorder drafted by attending physician Wang Jin, putting forward the important value of plasma β amyloid protein level on diagnosis of cognitive disorder in early stage, and Plasma Transport-protein Level is Closely Related with Plasma Aβ Level from PhD Candidate Gao Ling, illustrating that peripheral transport-protein may be an important factor for determining the plasma Aβ level. All of these papers aroused widespread interest of the participants in the meeting, and displayed the achievements of Neurology Department in our hospital in the research field of dementia.

The exchange in the meeting has broadened the vision of young physicians in Department of Neurology, and great efforts will be made to obtain greater achievements.
