On the morning of September 7, 2018, at the invitation of Yang Jian, Director of department of medical imaging, Professor Jin Min from Baylor College of Medicine came to the department for medical communication and discussed cooperation matters. This exchange activity was presided over by Director Yang Jian.

Born in a Chinese traditional medical family, Professor Jin Min studied in America in his early years, and served as a chief physician of radiology in St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital for more than 20 years. In 2017, Professor Jin joined Baylor College of Medicine, where he focused on research on chest, belly, and pelvis imaging diagnosis and extravascular intervention. During the visit and exchange period, Professor Jin shared the experience of resident doctor’s standard training, which was beneficial to improve the active study and scientific research ability of clinical resident doctors and interns needing standard training in our hospital. This also provided an opportunity for young doctors in department of medical imaging to go abroad for exchange and cultivation, thus promoting the talent cultivation and disciplinary development.

After that, with the time-featured PPT presented by Deputy Director Niu Gang, Professor Jin Min witnessed the development and culture of department of medical imaging.
