In the morning of May 22, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University welcomed the arrival of a 20-people visiting mission of Macau Medical and Health Federation, who came to promote communication and cooperation between Macau and the mainland, and improve professional medical level of Macau. Deputy Director Ren Hui of the International Exchange Office presided over the meeting. President Shi Bingyin of the hospital and directors of relevant departments were present at the meeting and made in-depth communication with the visiting mission.

Firstly, President Shi Bingyin introduced the history of the hospital as well as development in terms of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, etc. in recent years. Then, Ms. Luo Xiaojin, Leader of the visiting mission and President of Macau Medical and Health Federation introduced the basic information of Macau Medical and Health Federation, spoke highly of the hospital’s academic influence both at home and abroad, especially the achievement inhierarchical medicalservices and precision medicine. She also hoped that the hospital could strengthen cooperation with Macau medical field, thus promoting medical progress and helping Macau to cultivate medical talents. Soon afterwards, members of the visiting mission made an informal discussion and exchange on medical service operation and management mode, training of professionals, medical and health laws in Macau, rights and interests maintenance, legal system of medical accidents and doctor-patient relationship, etc. After the meeting, the visiting mission visited the museum of hospital history and key laboratory of Urology.
