From March 23 to 26, 2018, the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society (JCS) was held in Osaka, Japan. On behalf of Yuan Zuyi scientific research team, She Jianqing from the cardiovascular medicine department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University visited, studied and exchanged through wall poster at the meeting.
The Annual Meeting of JCS comprehensively demonstrated and exchanged new achievements, progresses and trends in the cardiovascular field from 2017 to 2018, aiming at promoting the latest academic achievements and treatment progresses of cardiovascular field in the Asia-Pacific Region. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor YoshikiSawa, Chairman of JCS. This meeting was themed at “Advancing Together in Heart Rhythm” with rich content, gathers experts' consensus and guidelines of experts all over the world especially the Asia-Pacific Region and international hot clinical studies, and covers new techniques and treatments for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases from pre-clinical medicine to clinical studies.
At the meeting, She Jianqing made a conference report entitled with “Hemoglobin A1c as a predictor for the severity of coronary artery stenosis band long term clinical outcomes in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing PCI”. It is found that the level of HbA1cin patients with acute myocardial infarction when being admitted may be an important predictor of the severity of coronary artery stenosis. This study is of certain significance for the mechanism study of atherosclerosis and the exploration of serum markers.
The team led by Professor Yuan Zuyi from the cardiovascular medicine department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University focused on the occurrence of atherosclerosis and the development of cellular biology mechanism previously, as well as the basic and clinical study on the inflammation and immune mechanism of the pathogenesis of acute coronary syndrome, who has obtained a number of National Natural Science Foundation Projects and the scientific study funds of the Ministry of Education, funds of international cooperation study, and also published many papers on high-level journals both at home and abroad.
