From April 11 to 14, 2018, the 2018 European Lung Cancer Conference (ELCC) was held in Geneva, Switzerland. Thousands of doctors, experts and scholars from all over the world participated in this event.

Under the support of high-level international conferences attended by schools and hospitals, Tian Tao, the attending physician of the Medical Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University attended the meeting on behalf of the research team of Prof. Nan Kejun and Prof. Yao Yu, and exchanged information through wall poster at the conference. Based on clinical big data mining, this paper made clinical epidemiological analysis of large cell lung carcinoma. It is found that gender, marital status, age at the time of diagnosis, tumor size, TNM staging, SEER historical stage, surgery and radiotherapy are the prognostic factors in patients with LCNELC. The Nomogram model based on these prognostic factors can better predict the prognosis of patients with LCNELC than conventional TNM staging. The presentation of the research results also fully reflects the achievements in scientific research of the Medical Oncology of the hospital and increases the academic influence of the hospital in the field of lung cancer research.
