From March 27 to March 31, 2018, the 2018 Asia-Pacific Regional Nephrology Symposium and the 2018 Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Medical Association Nephrology Branch were held in Beijing. Gao Julin, Deputy Director of the nurse of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University made a special report at the meeting and made communication through many English wall posters.
As the only report expert of nursing in Shaanxi Province, Gao Julin reported the epidemiological investigation, assessment and management during dialysis and non-dialysis period as well as individualized comprehensive assessment management of hemodialysis patients in “Comprehensive Assessment and Continuous Tracking Management of Hemodialysis Patients”. Finally, in the continuous quality tracking management session,the specific application of the new technology “B-ultrasound drawing plan rope ladder puncture” and “case management” in the integrated management of doctors, nurses and patients were shared.
Gao Fanfan, Professor Jiang Hongli’s doctoral student,mainly introduced flavonoids quercetin in terms of research background, experimental methods, experimental results, discussions and conclusions on English speech “Quercetin ameliorates podocyte injury by TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway in DN rats”. The flavonoids compound quercetin protects the podocyte injury of diabetic nephropathy rats by regulating TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway, thus providing a new target for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy and attracting the attention and enthusiastic questions of colleagues.
At the same time, 9 English wall posters from the Blood Purification Department were exchanged at this meeting. Dr. Wang Meng's subject, titled “Dietary advanced glycation end products restriction effects on intestinal bacterial flora and microinflammation state in maintenance hemodialysis patients”, was selected by the expert panel as an excellent poster for communication. This also demonstrated that the scientific research strength of the Blood Purification Department is sparing no effort to go hand in hand with medical level.
It is reported that this meeting is a grand academic gala with the largest scale and highest level in the field of kidney disease in the Asia-Pacific region in 2018. More than 11,000 experts and more than 70 international scholars have participated in it, and it provides a good platform for medical workers and full-time researchers engaged in clinical and scientific research on nephrology to understand the dynamics and latest developments in nephrology research, strengthen academic exchanges, cultivate and improve clinical thinking and research capabilities as well as improve the quality and level of nephrology medical services. Meanwhile, it also offers a great chance for the majority of medical personnel to communicate, exchange and cooperate with their international counterparts.
