From January 7 to 8, 2023, "2022 National Youth Academic Conference of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association", hosted by Chinese Medical Association and Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association and organized by Shaanxi Medical Association and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was successfully held in Xi 'an.
The conference was co-chaired by three young imaging technicians including Zhang Weishan from our hospital, Xia Chunchao from West China Hospital and Wang Chuanbing from Jiangsu Province Hospital. Professor Li Zhenlin, Chairman of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, Guan Xiaohong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Chen Teng, Party Secretary of Medical Department delivered speeches, respectively.
With the theme of "Exploration and Innovation, Integration and Development", multiple prestigious experts in the field of medical imaging technology and cross-disciplinary scholars from home and abroad were invited to attend this academic conference in Xi 'an. More than 1000 representatives jointly discussed the development direction of medical imaging technology both online and in-person.
Professor Zhu Feng, awardee of National Outstanding Youth Foundation, Professor Xie Xiaoyu, recipient of National Youth Talent Support Program and other distinguished youth representatives were invited to conduct in-depth exchange regarding talent training, scientific research and clinical standardization of medical imaging technology. The conference consists of 37 academic sessions, such as Frontier Forum, Innovative Technology, CT Youth, MR Youth, Digital X-ray Youth, Medical Engineering Youth, Education Youth, PACS Youth and International Youth,etc. The total quantity of online participants exceeded 10,000.
Professor Shi Mingguo, Chairman of Professional Committee of Medical Imaging Technology of Chinese PLA and the 6thChairman of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, Yu Jianming, Honorary Chairman of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, Professor Zhu Feng and Li Zhenlin were invited to deliver keynote speeches, respectively. Ma Xinwu, Chairman-designate of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, Lei Ziqiao and Lyu Fajin, Deputy Chairman of Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, and Professor Xie Xiaoyu gave special lectures, respectively.
