From January 6 to 8, 2023, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) successfully held 2022 Stroke Summary Conference of Shaanxi Province. Nearly 100 experts in the field of stroke from Shaanxi and other provinces were invited to deliver work summary, discuss future work plan, standard diagnosis and treatment for stroke and hotspots in stroke research, focusing on the construction of stroke centers in Shaanxi province.
The main venue of this conference was held on the morning of January 7. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Han Jianfeng from our hospital. Qu Qiumin, President of Stroke Specialty Alliance of Shaanxi Province, Ma Xinge, Party Secretary of our hospital, Yang Lianchang, Deputy Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, and Professor Ji Xunming from Stroke Prevention and Disability Reduction Office of National Health Commission were invited to give speeches, respectively. At the opening ceremony, the awarding ceremony for Stroke Specialty Alliance of Shaanxi Province was held. Shaanxi Stroke First Aid Map (2023 edition) was released. Through persistent guidance and exchange for alliance affiliations, and supervision and inspection for the affiliations of Shaanxi Stroke First Aid Map, the treatment capability for stroke of stroke centers in Shaanxi province has been constantly improved.
During the academic session, Cao Lei, Deputy Director of Stroke Prevention and Disability Reduction Office of National Health Commission, analyzed the data of stroke centers and stroke first aid map in China. Professor Han Jianfeng reported the quality control of stroke centers from different cities in Shaanxi province. Professor Qu Qiumin from our hospital illustrated the construction standards of stroke prevention centers. Tian Ye, President of Xi 'an No.3 Hospital shared the achievements in the construction of stroke center. Director Gao Xiaorong from Yan’an University Affiliated Hospital reported the experience in the construction of stroke center in Yan'an. Finally, Professor Han Jianfeng gave a lecture on reperfusion injury and brain-protection therapy.
As the supplement of stroke treatment technique training, 7 sub-venues, including training course for stroke health management specialists, training course for stroke artery embolectomy, sub-venue for stroke management, sub-venue for ischemic stroke intervention, sub-venue for thrombolysis, sub-venue for aneurysm, and salon for standardized treatment of carotid stenosis were also organized. Almost 300 trainees attended the training courses and obtained an opportunity of valuable learning.
