During February 4-6, the 18th Congress of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) was held in Madrid, Spain. The ESSM is an authoritative professional academic association in the field of sexual medicine in Europe, and approximately 1,200 sexologists from 76 countries attended the congress. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee, Associate Professor Yang Lin of Urology Department of our hospital delivered 2 speeches and 1 Highlight poster exchanges (only 4 in the world) at the congress.
In recent years, Associate Professor Yang Lin, focused on the etiology of male premature ejaculation and clinical trials of new drugs, won the support of the hospital clinical research project (No. XJTU1AHCR2014-038), and took the lead in carrying out the study on "the efficacy and safety of Priligy in treating patients with premature ejaculation in China", which obtained remarkable research achievements and won the 2nd Prize of National Outstanding Papers awarded by the Chinese Urology Association. He was invited to present and share a series of his important research results at ESSM, which was highly praised by Professor McMahong, Chairman of International Society of Sexual Medicine, highlighting the remarkable achievements made by the Urology Department of our hospital in male clinical research in recent years and further expanding the international reputation and influence of our hospital.
