On the morning of January 30th, Peng Long • Tyrone Wangwa, Director of the Mental Health Department of the Ministry of Health of Thailand, and Sami Seri Tantwang, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health, accompanied by personnel in charge of Dangweibo project of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission came to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and made exchanges on the development of mental health clinics in the hospital. Vice President Ma Xiancang received guests, Deputy Director of the Mental Health Department Chen Yunchun and Chen Ce, Deputy Director of the Party Committee President's Office Mao Huiping accompanied them to attend the exchange meeting.

Personnel in charge of Dangweibo project briefed the participants on the visit purpose of the mental health delegation from Thailand to understand the development and the effectiveness of the mental health work in Shaanxi Province. After watching the hospital propaganda video, Vice President Ma Xiancang gave a brief introduction to the hospital's history and overall overview, and focused on the introduction of the history, scale structure, diagnosis and treatment techniques and other contents in the hospital. During the exchange, the foreign guests also conducted in-depth understanding and communication of mental health-related personnel training, education and teaching, and scientific research in the hospital. The two sides also discussed the national mental health management laws and industry regulations.

After the discussion, accompanied by Deputy Director Chen Yunchun and Chen Ce, the foreign guests went to the Psychiatric Department for a field visit.
