Zhang Xiaowei graduated from Xi’an Medical University in 1987 and he is currently Chief Physician of Department of Orthopedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. He has accumulated abundant clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, spinal tumor and spinal tuberculosis. He was the first to perform vertebral artery adventitia dissection for vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis in China. He skillfully masters minimally invasive microendoscopic discectomy and minimally invasive spinal internal fixation surgery, artificial cervical disc replacement, scoliosis three-dimensional correction and other advanced or difficult operations.
