General information
Zhang Yingang has successively studied in Peking University Third Hospital, Chinese PLA General Hospital and Brown University in the U.S. as a visiting fellow. He received the master degree in Surgery from Tongji Medical University and a doctoral degree in Surgery from XJTU. He was responsible for teaching task of orthopedic part of Surgery for international students and 5-year term students.

Academic and scientific achievements
Zhang Yingang has hosted the development of 2 clinical technologies of XJTU including the application of spinal endoscopy (intervertebral foramen endoscopy) in thoracic spine diseases and application of 3D printing PEEK in orthopedic surgery. He hosted 1 New Major Medical Technology Project in 2019. He has successively undertaken 4 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, published more than 100 academic papers including over 30 in SCI-indexed journals, edited 5 monographs and obtained 3 national invention patents. He hosted National Continuing Education Project: Standardized Treatment of Cervical and Lumbar Degeneration (2016-04-07-637, 2017-04-07-637); Staging Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis (2019-04-07-236).
