General information
Xu Jun is a Doctor of Surgery and tutor of graduate students. He has been engaged in hepatobiliary surgery for more than 30 years and has accumulated abundant clinical experience in treatment of liver diseases, biliary tract diseases, portal hypertension and pancreatic diseases. He is one of the pioneers to conduct radiofrequency-assisted hepatectomy in China and has completed more than 5000 cases of ultrasound-guided minimally invasive radiofrequency ablation to treat liver tumors, which avoided surgical pain to liver cancer patients and achieved the goal of radical treatment.

Xu Jun has undertaken 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project and 2 Science and Technology Public Relation Project of Shaanxi Province. He has been awarded Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Education Department of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and Shaanxi Province. He has published more than 20 articles in SCI-indexed journals and core Chinese journals.
