General information
Yang Wei is a Doctor of Medicine, tutor of graduate students, Deputy Director of Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Director of Liver Disease Ward and Minimally Invasive Surgery Ward. He graduated from the English teaching class of Department of Clinical Medicine of China Medical university (6 years). From 2008 to 2012, he successively studied in Japan, Germany, the U.S. and Harvard Medical School. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than 20 years and has accumulated abundant experience in diagnosis and treatment of difficult and severe diseases. He is proficient with the diagnosis and treatment of cholelithiasis, tumors, other common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases. He specializes in liver tumor treatment, including complex hepatectomy, laparoscopic hepatectomy and other difficult surgeries. In recent years, he has conducted multi-mode treatment of liver tumors and has pioneered in performing scarless laparoscopic cholecystectomy in northwest China. He has extensively investigated the bariatric surgery and surgical treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and actively carried out bariatric surgery.

Academic and scientific achievements
Yang Wei has undertaken and participated in National Natural Science Foundation of China, Scientific Research Project of Shaanxi Province and Xi’an related to liver tumors. He has published over 30 articles as the first author and participated in the editing of multiple medical textbooks.
