On August 20,2022 Annual Meeting of Professional Committee of Health and Medical Big Data Application and Management of Chinese Hospital Association (Xi’an)—"Internet-based Medicine and Medical Big Data" Conference was grandly held. This conference was organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), and co-organized by Endocrinology and Metabolism Physician Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association and National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University. This conference was held online and live streamed on the official website of 2022annual meeting. Forty-seven experts from 33 colleges and universities and medical institutions delivered speeches or participated in the panel discussion, with over 60,000 online participants.

Liu Baoqin, Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province delivered a speech at the conference. Professor Lyu Yi, Vice President of XJTU and President of our hospital, gave a speech, introducing the work of establishing National Medical Center and the construction progress of Internet-based hospital. This conference was also an important activity for the establishment of National Medical Center.

The main venue meeting was chaired by Professor Shi Bingyin from our hospital. Academician Dong Erdan, Chairman of Professional Committee of Health and Medical Big Data Application and Management of Chinese Hospital Association, Academician Guan Xiaohong from Faculty of Electric and Information Engineering of XJTU, Academician Xu Zongben from School of Mathematics and Statistics of XJTU, Feng Gengzhong, Director of School of Management of XJTU and Professor Liu Yuewen from School of Management of XJTU gave keynote lectures. At the “Smart Medicine” sub-venue, experts from General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University and the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University made keynote speeches, and discussed the topics of "Development mode of full-cycle medical care and health management" and "How Internet+medicine enhances digital livelihood guarantee capability and drives high-quality development of medical health industry". At the "Medical Imaging Big Data" sub-venue, scholars exchanged ideas covering novel AI technologies to the development of medical big data from the perspectives and fields of medicine, engineering and humanity,etc. At the "Medical Big Data" sub-venue, researchers and experts in this field discussed the mining and application of biomedical big data and illustrated the development and application of medical big data from the perspectives of national clinical status,construction of China National Center for Bioinformation, bioinformatic analysis tools, methods and their application.
