The 13th Chang’an International Cardiovascular Forum (CIC2022), hosted by Shaanxi Province Health Care Association and organized by Department of Cardiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was held as scheduled on June 23, 2022. On June 24, Chang’an International Cardiovascular Nursing Forum was also successfully launched.
The forum was held online, chaired by Chief Head Nurse Liu Meili and Head Nurse Hu Jingwen, executive head of Department of Cardiology of our hospital.
At the opening ceremony, Yuan Zuyi, President of CIC2022 and President of Cardiovascular Disease Hospital of our hospital, Li Fei, Head of Nursing Group of Chinese Society of Cardiovascular Diseases of Chinese Medical Association and Head Nurse of Department of Cardiology of General Hospital of Northern Theater Command, and Li Wuping, Chairman of Shaanxi Nursing Association, delivered speeches, respectively. Meantime, relevant experts from Shaanxi Nursing Association, the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, School of Nursing of National University of Singapore, Peking University Third Hospital, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, and the Second Hospital of Jilin University attended the opening ceremony online.
The forum closely adhered to the theme of "cardiac rehabilitation". In the academic exchange session, Chief Physician Zhao Wei from Department of Cardiology of Peking University Third Hospital and Professor Wang Wenru from National University of Singapore gave intriguing lectures entitled Cardiac Rehabilitation Procedures for Acute Myocardial InfarctionandConstruction and Empirical Study of Tele-cardiac Rehabilitation. Subsequently, Wu Yue from Fuwai Hospital, Head Nurse Zhu Haixiang from Department of Cardiology of Sir Run Run Shaw hospital , Deputy Director Li Qiaoling and Nurse Li Rui from Nursing Department of our hospital, delivered presentations entitled Practical Experience Sharing of Cardiac Rehabilitation Nursing for AMI Patients-From Severe to Outpatient, Rehabilitation Management for Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases after Discharge, Training and Allocation of Rehabilitation Specialist Nurses, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Management for Patients after PCI, respectively.The speakers conducted in-depth discussion from the admission, post-operation, discharge and remote management of patients withmyocardial infarction, from the exploratory stage of cardiac rehabilitation to experience summary and sharing, from the training of specialist nurses to management of clinical work.
During the case report session, nurses from 12 hospitals in Shaanxi province shared 12 high-quality typical cases, including basic diseases, such as cardiac rehabilitation of patients with heart failure, novel medical technologies, such as left atrial appendage occlusion, and cardiac rehabilitation topics. At the end of case report session, the experts delivered relevant discussion and comment.
