On May 28, 2022, All-phase VTE Integrated Construction Seminar in conjunction with Quality Control Meeting of Pulmonary Embolism and Venous Thrombosis Prevention and Treatment Specialist Alliance of Shaanxi Province, hosted by the team led by Professor Tian Hongyan from Department of Peripheral Vessel of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), were held in Xi 'an. The meeting was held both online and offline.
Liu Na, Director of Hospital Administration Bureau of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, Professor Han Jianfeng, Assistant-to-Presidentof our hospital, Li Hongxia, Director of Medical Department, and Professor Tian Hongyan from Department of Peripheral Vessel chaired and gave important speeches, respectively. During the meeting, certificates were presented to 8 hospitals which became new members of the alliance from 7 cities in Shaanxi province. Professor Ma Jiancang from the Second Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Professor Quan Hui from Baoji Central Hospital, Professor Yuan Huijun from Xi 'an Red Cross Hospital, Professor Dai Yi from Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Yu Liming from Xi 'an Daxing Hospital and other experts in this field were invited to contribute intriguing discussion on the construction and evaluation of national VTE prevention and control projects, hospital management and discipline construction team building, illustrated practical experience and shared specific cases.
During the academic session, Li Hongxia, Tian Hongyan, Meng Yanfu and Zhou Hongyan from our hospital shared VTE coordination, physician-nurse integration, prevention combined with control construction system in our hospital from the perspectives of Interpretation of national VTE prevention and control construction standards, Full-phase VTE integrated prevention and control system construction, information system construction and nursing system construction, respectively. During the academic session in the afternoon, Liu Yamin, Sheng Ying, Ma Qiang, Zhang Junbo, Wang Wei and other experts from our hospital shared and discussed the achievements and viewpoints of pulmonary embolism and venous thrombosis via individualized clinical experience and cases in the actual settings of diagnosis, treatment and detection.
More than 5,000 participants registered for the meeting both online and offline. In addition, over 24,000 physicians, nurses and hospital administrators engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases in Medical Department, ICU, Department of Vascular Surgery, Department of Interventional Irradiation, Department of Gastroenterology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Oncology, Department of Infectious Diseases, Department of Orthopedics, Department of Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory and Nursing Department from specialist medical institutions at all levels nationwide attended the livestreamed meeting.
