On May 27, 2022, Annual Meeting 2022 in conjunction with inaugural meeting of the 2nd committee of Organ Transplantation Surgeon Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association, hosted by Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association and Organ Transplantation Surgeon Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association, and organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), were held in Xi'an. The meeting was held both online and offline.
First, the general election meeting of Organ Transplantation Surgeon Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association was launched. Professor Ding Xiaoming from our hospital was elected as President of the 2nd committee of Organ Transplantation Surgeon Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association, Professor Fu Junke, Professor Wang Bo, and Professor Yang Zhaoxu from Xijing Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University were elected as Vice Presidents, and Professor Li Yang from our hospital was elected as the Standing Committee Member and Director General. Dou Kefeng, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Deputy Director of Chinese Society of Surgery of Chinese Medical Association, Professor Lyu Yi, Vice President of XJTU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Professor Xue Wujun, President-designate of Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation of Chinese Medical Association, were invited as Honorary Presidents. Professor Tian Puxun, Director of Kidney Transplantation Branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, and Professor Tao Kaishan, Deputy Director of ProfessionalCommittee of General Surgery of China Research Hospital Association, were invited as Consultants.
President Ding Xiaoming led all standing committee members to read the oath of Chinese doctors and deliver a statement.
Subsequently, Annual Meeting 2022 of Organ Transplantation Surgeon Branch of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association was held. Honorary President Xue Wujun, Vice President of our hospital Liu Qingguang and Honorary President Dou Kefeng, Academician of CAS, delivered speeches, respectively.
During the academic exchange session, Professor Ding Xiaoming, Professor Li Shuo and Professor Zheng Jin from our hospital, Professor Yang Zhaoxu and Professor Yi Wei from Xijing Hospital gave intriguing presentations on the topics of Organ donation and transplantation under the new situation, Comprehensive treatment of liver transplantation for liver cancer, Review and progress on lung transplantation, Current status and prospect of clinical application of heart transplantation and artificial heart, and Dealing with challenges and expectations of ABMR, etc. The attending experts conducted in-depth academic discussions.
