Recently, the inaugural meeting in conjunction with the first plenary meeting of Expert Committee of Neurological Intervention of National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center were held in Beijing. Professor Han Jianfeng from Department of Neurology, Assistant-to-President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was elected as the Secretary-General of Expert Committee of Neurological Intervention of National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center. During the meeting, Professor Han Jianfeng introduced the Work Management Process of Expert Committee of Neurological Intervention. Expert Committee of Neurological Intervention is the 21st specialist committee, established under the guidance of Department of Science & Technology and Education of National Health Commission, which will effectively play an exemplary role in leading the standardized development of continuing education and disciplinary capacity building of neurological intervention.
Han Jianfeng is Chief Physician, Assistant-to-President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, lecturer of Stroke Screening and Prevention Base of National Health Commission, training expert of Carotid Artery Stent Training Base, and Head of National Advanced Stroke Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. He participated in the 3rdtraining course held by Johns Hopkins University and National Health Commission.
He has presided over multiple Key Scientific and Technological Research Project of Shaanxi Province and Key Research and Development Program of Shaanxi Province, obtained the second and third prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award of Shaanxi Province and the first prize of Science and Technology Award in Colleges and Universities of Shaanxi Province. He has participated in editing 2 Chinese expert guidelines, 2 consensus and 1 recommendation. He serves as Member of Cerebrovascular Disease Group of Chinese Society of Neurology of Chinese Medical Association, Director of Youth Committee of Chinese Stroke Association, Standing Committee Member of Cerebrovascular Disease Branch of Chinese Stroke Association, Standing Committee Member of Youth Committee of Cerebrovascular Disease Branch of Gerontological Society of China, Member of Professional Committee of Vertigo of China Medical Research Society, Member of Professional Committee of Neurological Emergency of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Deputy Chairman of Shaanxi Province Branch of Chinese Chapter of the International Union of Angiology,etc.
