From October 30 to November 6, 2020, the 27th Annual Meeting of Chinese Urological Association (CUA) hosted by Chinese Medical Association and CUA of Chinese Medical Association was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Professor He Dalin, Standing Committee Member of CUA of Chinese Medical Association, and Professor Li Lei, Director of Department of Urology and Youth Committee Member of CUA of Chinese Medical Association actively led a team to attend the annual meeting representing Department of Urology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), fully showcasing the advancements and achievements conducted by Department of Urology of our hospital in clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research, outcome transformation, technological innovation and talent training,etc. In recognition of her commitment to active exploration of innovative integrated mode of treatment and nursing and the establishment and operation of specialist nurses for many years, and contributions to urology nursing in Northwest China, Chief Nurse Jiang Yumei from Department of Urology of our hospital received the "Angel Award", the highest honor in the specialty of urology nursing, at the annual special awards ceremony of 2020 CUA .
Jiang Yumei, Party Committee Member of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Chief Nurse of Department of Nephrology and Department of Urology, Deputy Director Nurse, Head of Nursing Quality and Safety Cooperation Group of Urology Promotion Branch of China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare, Member of Nursing Group of CUA of Chinese Medical Association, presided over 2 projects of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, participated in 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 20 academic articles, including 2 articles published in SCI-indexed journals. She has been devoted to improving the quality of medical services, increasing the degree of satisfaction with nursing care and striving to establish a high-quality integrated nursing mode of "treatment and nursing". Adhering to the principle of “serving the grassroots, imparting knowledge and demonstrating technology”, she has been committed to the development of nursing career, building an exchange platform for nurses, teaching advanced nursing concepts and technologies to grassroots and county-level hospitals, and leading the nursing teams to Lan Zhou, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Guizhou Province, An Kang, Shang Luo and Bao Ji,etc. What she has been devoted to truly serves the patients in Northwest China and drives the development of nursing care in this region.
