From October 9 to 11, 2020, Rehabilitation Nursing Summit Forum of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (CARM) in conjunction with the 6^th Re-election Meeting of Rehabilitation Nursing Committee organized by Rehabilitation Nursing Committee of CARM and hosted by Sichuan Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital was grandly launched in Chengdu, China. With the theme of "Rehabilitation, Integration, Innovation and Sharing", well-known experts in the field of rehabilitation medicine at home and abroad were invited to build the most significant platform for academic exchange of rehabilitation nursing medicine.

Simultaneously, the 6^th Re-election Meeting of Rehabilitation Nursing Committee was held. Xin Xia, Director of Nursing Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was elected as Deputy Director of the 6^th Rehabilitation Nursing Committee of CARM, and also served as the leader of Rehabilitation Nursing Management Group. Director Xin Xia was the only Deputy Director of Rehabilitation Nursing Committee of CARM from Shaanxi province, signifying that the rehabilitation nursing work in our hospital has been highly recognized by the counterparts and it also establishes a higher platform and develops a broader prospect for rapid progress of rehabilitation nursing in our hospital and even Shaanxi province.

Li Qiaoling, Deputy Director of Nursing Department, Hu Xiaohong, Head Nurse of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Deputy Head Nurse Han Mei, Mou Chunying, Deputy Head Nurse of Neurology Department, and Qi Jing, Nurse of Department of Breast Surgery, were elected as members of Rehabilitation Nursing Management Group, Pediatric Rehabilitation Group, Neurological Rehabilitation Group, Critical Illness Rehabilitation Group and Tumor Rehabilitation Group, respectively.
