On October 11-12, the 4th Smart Health Innovation Competition was grandly held in Fuzhou, Fujian province. The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) grabbed multiple awards in this competition.
The 4th Smart Health Innovation Competition, held in conjunction with the 3rd Digital China Summit, is a smart track for 2020 Digital China Summit. Nearly 10,000 contestants in 685 teams from more than 20 competition divisions across the country participated in this event. After intensive competition procedures including registration, preliminary examination, finals in competition divisions and online voting, a total of 111 outstanding projects entered the finals.
The competition centered on 7 topics including medical health information management, Internet+medical health, 5G-based Internet of Things+smart hospital, and application of big data and artificial intelligence,etc. Experts in the fields of medicine, information technology and venture capital were invited for professional assessment.
The project entitled "Smart Hospital from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University" was awarded the second prize. "Optimization of Closed-loop Management Process of Critical Value Based on Smart Phone" won the excellence award. The project entitled "How to make patients habituated at an altitude of 4,500 meters consultqualified doctors" jointly completed by our hospital and Ngari Perfecture People's Hospital received the "Best Application Award in Grassroots Hospitals" and "Best Leadership Award". Our hospital also grabbed the “Best Organization Award” for organizing the competition activities in Shaanxi division.
During the closing ceremony, Dai Qionghai, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chairman of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Dean of the School of Information of Tsinghua University, congratulated the teams receiving awards, and delivered an in-depth interpretation of theaim of this competition and the development prospects of artificial intelligence and medical health.
