From November 15 to 17, the 13th Annual Conference of China Hospital CEO was held in Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center. President Shi Bingyin, Vice President Ma Xiancang, Assistant to President Han Jianfeng and Assistant to President Wang Yafeng of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) led the team to attend the annual conference. Nearly 20 team members including Xu Qingli, President of East Hospital District, Zhao Xinhan, President of Chang 'an District Hospital, Chen Rui, Executive President of Binzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Wu Dapeng, Vice President of East Hospital District, Vice President Zeng Xinchun and relevant staff from each hospital district participated in the meeting.
The annual conference is jointly organized by the journal of China Hospital CEO, Xiamen Municipal Health Commission, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College, School of Health Humanities of Peking University and China Hospital Performance Reform Research Institute. With the theme of ‘Iterative Era, Big Era’, the annual conference consists of nearly 40 forums. A total of 350 speakers, mainly from grade III level A hospitals, research institutions, and health administrative departments of different provinces and the 1st- and 2nd-tier cities, gathered and jointly discussed the coping strategies for the uncertainties in the iterative upgrading of the health industry in the new era, aiming to seek for more profound support and confidence for the future depending upon collective wisdom and the power of change.
On the morning of November 16, the awards of 2019 Hospital Management Case of Chinawere announced at the 13th Annual Conference of China Hospital CEO. The case entitled ‘Building a goal-oriented management system and promoting the rapid development of hospitals’ contributed by President Office and Party Committee Office of our hospital grabbed the crown in the category of hospital operation and management.
On the morning of November 17, President Shi Bingyin was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech at the forum of ‘Focus on Top Hospital CEO: what makes a top hospital’. With the theme of ‘System and mechanism innovation leads to leapfrog development of the hospital’, President Shi Bingyin stressed the innovative exploration and practice of building a development layout of multi-hospital districts, novel medical service mode, intelligent medical healthcare, discipline platform, management level and talent cultivation,etc. He fully demonstrated the rapid development and achievements of our hospital in recent years, and shared his thoughts and prospects on subsequent development of our hospital.
Vice President Ma Xiancang and Assistant to President Han Jianfeng were invited to deliver speeches at the forums ‘Focus on Top Hospital CEO: National Tasks-Regional Medical Center’ and ‘Hospital CEO Dialogue: Definition of Quality Medical Healthcare’. Vice President Ma Xiancang shared the exploration practice of discipline construction of our hospital to enhance the regional influence with the theme of ‘Exploration of hospital discipline construction under the background of the establishment of national regional medical center’. Assistant to President Han Jianfeng illustrated the management mode and remarkable implementation effect of our hospital in combination with the case of ‘Building a goal-oriented management system and promoting the rapid development of hospitals’.
A new round of iterative upgrading is changing the development trend of the health industry at an unbelievable speed and intensity. Through the idea exchange and discussion of this annual hospital CEO meeting, the management leaders of our hospital have learnt advanced experience and wisdom from other hospitals to provide more profound support and firm confidence for the development vision of becoming a world-prestigious affiliated hospital of high-level university and a national regional medical center in China.
