On the morning of November 26, 2025, an international multicenter clinical trial project led by Professor Xue Wujun of the Department of Kidney Transplantation of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was officially launched. Professor Xue Wujun, together with the research team, representatives of the sponsor and representatives of the GCP Center, attended the kick-off meeting.

This project is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter phase II study initiated by AstraZeneca to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ALXN2030 in adult patients who develop antibody-mediated rejection after kidney transplantation.

The FAH, as the lead unit for this project in China, has demonstrated that its accumulated experience in GCP platform building, project process management and multi-party collaboration has gained international recognition, and has further enhanced our experience in carrying out collaborative research with international partners in cutting-edge fields. Looking ahead, the FAH will continue to systematically advance the development of its clinical trial system, with plans to steadily enhance platform support capabilities focusing on major disease areas and to actively expand the breadth and depth of international cooperation, striving to play a constructive role in more global medical research in the future. We expect that, through continued participation in and promotion of high-quality clinical trials, we can provide useful support for the development of innovative drugs and contribute our wisdom and strength to the cause of drug research and development.
