Chief Nurse Li Meng Is Awarded the Title of “2024 CNKI Highly Cited TOP 1% Scholar”

Recently, Chief Nurse Li Meng from the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was awarded the title of “2024 CNKI Highly Cited TOP 1% Scholar”. This honor, conferred by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), aims to recognize outstanding scholars who have achieved remarkable accomplishments in scientific research and exerted a broad impact within the academic community. Owing to her outstanding contributions in the field of nursing research, Chief Nurse Li Meng has been selected into the 2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars (TOP 1%) cohort.

Chief Nurse Li Meng has long been committed to research in the field of chronic disease nursing, and has achieved remarkable accomplishments and developed a systematic approach, particularly in the innovation and application of nursing research based on clinical thinking. To date, under her leadership, the nursing team of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism has published more than forty influential papers in core journals and SCI-indexed journals, and these research findings have been widely cited in the academic community both in China and abroad. Through years of efforts and accumulation, Chief Nurse Li Meng has earned broad recognition from her peers in the profession.

The conferment of this honor not only affirms the academic achievements of Chief Nurse Li Meng and the nursing team of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, but also fully recognizes the nursing research capabilities and academic standards of the FAH of XJTU.
