On the afternoon of April 24th, 2025,a delegation of six individuals led by Shaiatbek Abdurakhmanov, President of Osh City Clinical Hospital and Healthcare Coordinator of Osh Oblast, visited the East Division of the First Affiliated Hospital(FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) for exchange, focusing on the construction of public health centers, chronic disease management models, and the application of smart healthcare. Gao Wei, Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Li Ning, Director of the Comprehensive Administration Office and Deputy Directors Liu Na and Ma Hongbo of the East Division accompanied the delegation throughout the exchange.

The delegation successively visited core areas such as the outpatient lobby, emergency center, hemodialysis room, cardiovascular internal medicine chronic disease clinic, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation department. Through on-site observation, scenario-based experience, and in-depth discussions, they systematically learned about the innovative practices of the East Division in optimizing diagnosis and treatment processes, smart nursing services, and multidisciplinary collaboration models.


At the emergency center, the delegation learned about the "pre-hospital emergency care - in-hospital treatment" full-chain management system. In the hemodialysis room, they experienced the patient zoning management model and the refined infection control capabilities of the water treatment system. At the chronic disease clinic and cardiac rehabilitation room, the two sides held discussions on topics such as the construction of a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment network and the full life-cycle health management of patients. The integrated therapy of the traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation department, characterized by "combination of acupuncture and medication + modern rehabilitation," became the focus of cross-cultural medical exchange. In the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, the delegation highly praised the intelligent blood glucose dynamic monitoring ward and the hospital-wide metabolic disease management model. Director Shaiatbek Abdurakhmanov praised the FAH’s refined management and technological applications, stating that they provided valuable experience for chronic disease prevention and control, which is worth learning and drawing upon.

This visit and exchange is an important practice of China and Kyrgyzstan implementing the health cooperation achievements of the "China-Central Asia Summit." In April 2025, 11 medical and management personnel from the Kyrgyz side went to the FAH for 7 to 30 days of training and learning. This exchange is an important part of the training program, marking the continued acceleration of the pace of the two countries jointly building a community of human health under the "Belt and Road" framework.
