The 2019 Annual Meeting of World Chinese Urological Society (WCUS) was grandly held in McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago in the U.S. on May 3 (local time). During WCUS annual meeting, Chinese scholars were presented with Achievement Award, Innovation Award and Rising Star Award for their extraordinary contributions to urology. Professor He Dalin from Urology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University was presented with the 2019 Achievement Award by WCUS. Chinese urologists from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, the U.S. and other countries collectively witnessed this moment.

Professor He Dalin has been dedicated to work as a doctor for 30 years and has achieved fruitful achievements in clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research, personnel training, disciplinary construction and academic exchanges,etc. He has been highly recognized by the massive Chinese urologists. In recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the world Chinese urology, Professor Tom F Lue (Lyu Futai) from the University of California San Francisco, President of the annual meeting, personally presented the award and extended warm congratulations to Professor He Dalin. This is not only an indication of high recognition for personal achievements of Professor He Dalin, but also represents great honor for Urology Department of our hospital. The staff from Urology Department will take Professor He Dalin as an example, work hard and earnestly and spare no efforts to promote the disciplinary development.
