Recently, Contribution Science Progress (CSP) 2024 of Chinese Medical Association successfully concluded. Vice President Ma Xiancang, Professor Gao Chengge and Director Wang Wei led the team from Department of Psychiatry of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) to attend and outshine at CSP 2024.
In CSP 2024, the "Chinese Guideline for Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)", chief-edited by Vice President Ma Xiancang and Director Wang Wei as the academic secretary, was officially released, which attracted national colleagues for academic exchanges. It took 2 years to draft and publish this guideline, which condensed the wisdom and arduous work from Chinese experts, systematically summarized the experience of prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in China, and organically integrated internationally cutting-edge achievements. This guideline aims to enhance the prevention and treatment levels of post-traumatic stress disorder, provide practical guidance and reference for frontline clinicians and researchers, and also offer professional guidance and work norms for relevant government decision makers and community workers.
During the annual meeting, many experts from Department of Psychiatry of FAH were invited to contribute academic lectures, respectively. Vice President Ma Xiancang was invited to chair, deliver academic discussion and exchanges at the Psychiatry Forum of Tertiary Hospitals and several thematic forums. He contributed a keynote lecture entitled “Study of Immune Disorder Mechanism of Schizophrenia”, which was highly recognized by multiple psychiatrists nationwide.
Professor Gao Chengge, Director Wang Wei, Professor Zhu Feng, Professor Li Yan, Deputy Director Zhou Lina, PhD Jia Min, PhD Gao Yuan and other experts were invited to participate in academic exchange activities regarding different topics. PhD Li Baijia and colleagues shared respective research results. Zhao Yunzhi and colleagues conducted poster presentations, respectively. The submitted papers by Guo Liyang and others were selected for conference proceedings. Multiple intriguing academic lectures and exchange activities significantly enhanced disciplinary influence of FAH.
During the popular science activities, Nurse-in-charge Xue Dan and Nurse Wang Xiaoting contributed a popular science work entitled "Something about Schizophrenia", which grabbed the first place in the national finals.
