“Chinese Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)” chief edited by Professor Ma Xiancang officially published

Recently, "Chinese Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)" was officially published by People's Medical Publishing House. This guideline was compiled by the Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Association. Professor Li Lingjiang served as the chief reviewer. Professor Ma Xiancang, Wang Xueyi and Li Weihui served as the chief editors. This guideline will be published at the Annual Meeting of Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Association.

" Chinese Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)" adheres to the spirit of inheritance and innovation.An expert team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists and evidence-based medicine experts was established to strictly follow the rules of evidence-based medicine and provide fundamental evidence for medicine, psychology and physical therapy by adopting the evidence level and recommendation intensity-based approach of recommendations and suggestions. Meantime, the expert team integrated the latest research results at home and abroad in recent years with specific national conditions and practice of China, not only highlighting the introduction of diagnosis and treatment, but also focusing upon prevention and rehabilitation and alternative important concepts and methods. This guideline possesses high readability and operatibility, which can provide practical guidance and reference for front-line clinicians and researchers, as well as professional guidance and work norms for relevant government decision makers and community workers. This guideline consists of seven chapters, which comprehensively covers the diagnosis, treatment, management, prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, offering complete and standardized evaluation and prevention guidelines for clinicians, especially psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and social workers.

Over 20 experts nationwide were organized to draft " Chinese Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)" for 2 years. As a "guideline" monograph led by Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Association, it is of important guidance, authority and scientificity.

" Chinese Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (2024 Version)" will play a professional guiding role in the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in China, elevating the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder to new height!
