From August 21 to 23, 2024, the 11th China Nursing Management Conference, hosted by Chinese Nursing Management, was held in Changsha, Hunan province. Top-notched experts and scholars in the field of nursing care in China gathered to discuss common development plans for nursing. Under the leadership of Chief Head Nurse Xiao Qigui, the nursing team from Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech at this meeting.
Nurse-in-Charge Lu Huapeng delivered a speech entitled “Exploration on the homogeneous construction pattern of nursing work during the construction of National Regional Medical Center” and shared valuable experience and remarkable achievements in the homogeneous construction of nursing work in Yulin Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). Focusing on six core dimensions including nursing staff management, clinical nursing as the core, conducting clinical nursing work, playing the roles of nursing teaching and training, and nursing scientific research, standardization of nursing institutional documents, and shaping nursing concept and culture, he vividly illustrated a series of measures taken by the nursing team during the process of establishing National Regional Medical Center in Yulin Hospital, and put forward a homogeneous construction model for establishing National Regional Medical Center in FAH, receiving unanimous recognition from experts and colleagues attending the meeting.
