Recently, Vice Mayor Jin A’ning, Member of the Standing Committee of Baishan Municipal Committee of Jilin Province (National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, temporary post in Baishan), and Liu Zhihai, President of Baishan Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine, visited the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) for inspection and exchange.
The meeting was chaired by Ma Xinge, Party Secretary of FAH. Vice Mayor Jin A’ning highly recognized medical technology and scientific research strength of FAH and introduced practical experience of the reform and high-quality development of public hospitals in Baishan.
He Hong, Executive Vice President of China Institute of Hospital Development and Reform of XJTU, introduced the basic situation and achievements of the Institute. Ma Xin, Assistant-to-President of FAH, illustrated the construction of National Medical Center of FAH from six aspects. Assistant-to-President Ge Xiaohong shared goal positioning, core point exploration, implementation of specific measures and evaluation mechanism design for high-quality development of public hospitals by combining with the positioning of Baishan.During the exchange session, all participants delivered in-depth exchange regarding the reform and high-quality development of public hospitals in Baishan, focusing on integrated medical services, regional medical centers, first-aid and emergency response capabilities, informationization and industrial integration, etc.
Party Secretary Ma Xinge welcome that the delegates from Baishan visited FAH to exchange ideas on practical experience and implementation paths for the reform and high-quality development of public hospitals, which provided valuable working ideas for high-quality development of FAH. He highlighted that high-quality development of public hospitals should emphasize complementary development and characteristic development, highlight the establishment of integrated medical service system, focus upon first-aid and emergency response capability, take advantage of the construction of Regional Medical Center to promote the improvement of medical service ability and alleviate the problems caused by insufficient medical resources through informationization, thereby meeting the public needs for medical treatment.
After the exchange meeting, the delegates visited Hospital History Museum, Biobank, National Medical Center Exhibition Board in Department of Surgery Building and Life Narrative Medical Center.
