From April 12 to 14, the 2019 Annual Meeting of Branch of Kidney Transplantation of China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare in conjunction with the 4th Huaxia Forum on Kidney Transplantation was grandly held in Nanchang, capital city of Jiangxi Province, China.
Professor Li Xinchang, Director of Department of Organ Transplantation of Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital, presided over the annual meeting. Professor Xue Wujun summarized the leading role and position of kidney transplantation in the development of organ transplantation in China. He highlighted that the discipline of kidney transplantation has made innovative, constructive and exploratory efforts in improving and promoting the construction of comprehensive organ transplantation system in China, and has played a leading role in the construction of OPO and the system of donation, distribution, transplantation, registration and supervision, aiming to establish a group of first-class international centers, construct big-data quality system and build high-level talent cultivation system, innovative technology development system, multi-center talent research system and international cooperation and exchange system, thus promoting the standardized, healthy and rapid development of organ transplantation in China in the "Chinese mode".
Professor Li Xianchang, Professor Shi Bingyi and Professor Zhang Wenhong delivered amazing keynote speeches entitled Effect of Innate Immune Cells on Regulating the Survival after Transplantation,2018 Work Report on Kidney Transplantation in China, and Difficulties and Measures in Treatment of Infection after Organ Transplantation, respectively. Subsequently, a special topic discussion was carried out.
The "Branch of Kidney Transplantation of China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare" has become a normalized mechanism platform for academic exchanges and discussions on technologies, principles, procedures and standards of kidney transplantation in China.
