The"15th Annual Meeting of Chinese Psychiatrist Association" was held in Xi 'an from April 11 to 13, 2019. The annual meeting consisted of keynote speeches, medical humanities, academic topics, working committee topics, supervision and ward rounds, arts and psychology,etc. Keynote speeches, thematic academic meetings, satellite meetings and posters were delivered for academic exchanges.
During the meeting, multiple psychiatric experts were invited as hosts or speakers. In the "CPA Aid Plan to the West--Sparking Project" held before the meeting, Professor Ma Xiancang delivered a speech entitled "Dispute handling in clinical work of Department of Psychiatry". Professor Gao Chengge presided over the special meeting of Chang 'an Forum and gave a speech as the Chairman illustrating the development of psychiatric medicine in Shaanxi province. Professor Chen Yunchun hosted the relevant speeches of "Interpretation of ICD-11 in diagnosis of mental diseases". In the special report of psychiatry in general hospitals, Professor Ma Xiancang presided over the entire meeting as the Chairman. During the special discussion on mental health education, Associate Professor Wang Wei hosted the keynote speech entitled "Interpretation of standards of CPA demonstration base for mental health education". Professor Ma Xiancang gave a lecture on relevant topics, highlighting the management of depression treatment compliance and the latest progress in diagnosis and treatment of depression.
During the annual meeting, the Standing Committee of Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association was held. Professor Ma Xiancang was elected as the Head of the Psychiatric Trauma Coordination Group and appointed as the Director of "CSP Psychiatric Clinical Standardized Training Center (Xi' an)" of Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association. Professor Ma was the only elected candidate in Shaanxi province.
Experts of the Standing Committee reviewed and selected multiple outstanding institutions for the promotion and application of guidelines on psychiatric professional techniques and industry standards. The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University was awarded "Outstanding Institution for Diagnosis and Treatment of Depression" and "Outstanding General Hospital for Psychiatric Liaison and Consultation".
The annual meeting was jointly hosted by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and organized by our hospital and Xijing Hospital of Air Force Medical University. Professor Ma Xiancang, the Standing Committee Member of Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the annual meeting, Vice President of our hospital and Professor from Department of Psychiatry, presided over the meeting. Professor Wang Gaohua, President of Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Chairman of the annual meeting, Yan Hong, Vice President of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Li Jinhu, Deputy Inspector of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, Professor Zhang Mingyuan, Shanghai Mental Health Center affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xie Qilin, Secretary General of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Lei Zhenglong, Deputy Director of Bureau of Disease Prevention and Control of National Health Commission delivered respective speeches.
During the annual meeting, Department of Psychiatry of our hospital submitted over 30 papers, 16 of them were selected and 2 papers were included for posters, on the top of the list among all participants. Among them, the paper entitled "Correlation between inflammation level in peripheral blood and risk of coronary heart disease in depression patients" by Dr. Zhou Lina was awarded the second prize for excellent papers and "Correlation between sleep efficiency and diabetes mellitus in community-based population with or without sleep respiratory disorders" by Zhao Binbin, a graduate student won the first prize for excellent posters. In the "Indulgence in Happiness-Case Presentation and Analysis Contest" organized by Chinese Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Dong Yingying and Jiao Xiang, Physicians from Department of Psychiatry were awarded the second prize representing the Northwest Team.
