On April 22, 2023, the 2nd working meeting of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases was held in Jingdezhen. All members of the Expert Committee of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases and heads of quality control centers from different provinces attended the working meeting. Professor Yang Lan, Director of Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases of Shaanxi Province, and Professor Shi Zhihong, Member of the Expert Committee of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases, attended the working meeting.
The working meeting was chaired by Professor Li Yanming, Deputy Director of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases and Director of Department of Respiratory Medicine of Beijing Hospital. Wang Chen, Director of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Peking Union Medical College, delivered an important speech.
Under the leadership of Academician Wang Chen, National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases took the lead in establishing a quality control framework with management quality control, technical quality control and disease quality control as the core elements. After repeated discussion by the expert panel, National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases has established and released the main parameters for technical quality control andrespiratory disease quality control, etc.
On behalf of National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases, Director Li Yanming delivered a report to summarize the main work of the center in 2022. In 2023, National Center of Medical Quality Control for Respiratory Diseases will further focus on improving the organizational system, enhancing the efficiency of work system, guaranteeing professional, intelligent and normal feedback of quality control information, and the highlights of medical quality according to the requirements of National Health Commission, implement quality improvement actions and achieve the goal of quality improvement.
