Recently, Doctor Yang Lin of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery attended the 30th annual conference of European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVC) held in Copenhagen, Denmark and joined ESVC and International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS) with the recommendation of his German tutor, becoming an international commissioner of the two societies during his government sponsored oversea study in Germany. It is reported that Doctor Yang Lin is the only vascular surgeon joining international top academic organizations of society for vascular surgery in Shaanxi at present. ESVC and ISVS are professional societies about vascular surgery and vascular intervention surgeon and also top-notch international academic organizations of peripheral vessel field with strict standards and conditions for new commissioners. The joining of Doctor Yang Lin of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery marks that the academic level and teacher’s level of the department begin to conform to international level.
Subsidized by subsidization project for overseas study of young physicians of our hospital, Doctor Yang Lin of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery went to Department of Vascular Surgery of Klinikum Nuernberg for half-year study. He received training of clinic and scientific research about the most advanced vascular surgery and vascular intervention therapy in the world under the guidance of his German tutor. He will continue to serve the vessel specialty of our hospital after study to help the development of the department and specialty.
