From July 7 to 11, 2023, Professor Wang Yanan from Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism was invited to attend the 55th Annual Scientific Meeting of Japan Atherosclerosis Society (JAS) in Japan and delivered a special academic report. At the meeting, Professor Wang Yanan from Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism gave a special academic report entitled "Role of Brown Adipose Tissue in Cholesterol Metabolism and Cardiometabolic Disease", and conducted in-depth exchanges with the participating experts regarding basic research direction of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases and the establishment of animal models of this disease, which will further establish cooperation relationship with top-notched international scientists in this field.
