The eighth batch of Chinese medical team (Shaanxi province) arrives in Malawi to deliver medical aid

On September 27, the 8th batch of medical team from China (Shaanxi province), organized by Shaanxi Provincial Health Commission and led by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), arrived in Malawi and handed over the task from the 7th batch of medical team. On October 26, the 8th batch team to Malawi consisting of 7 medical experts headed by Li Xiaogang, Deputy Director of Department of Anesthesiology of our hospital, drove over 400 kilometers with necessary personal protective materials to reach the designated site in the northern city of Mzuzu. Subsequently, all team members started to deliver safety check, environmental disinfection, sanitation and preparation of living materials, and then raised a Chinese national flag there. On October 30, team members are scheduled todrive to Mzuzu to perform the glorious and arduous task of medical aid in Malawi!
