Zhang Jingping, Physician from Medical Imaging Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University attended the 4thAsian Congress of Thoracic Imaging (ACTI 2019) held in Shanghai from July 5 to 7, 2019 and won the second prize of young radiologist speech competition.
ACTI is scheduled to be held every four years, which is one of the highest-level imaging academic events throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Thoracic radiologists from Asia and professionals in the field of cardiothoracic imaging from Europe and the U.S. gather for academic exchanges. Professor Guo Youmin lead team of 9 members from Medical Imaging Department of our hospital to attend the grand congress.
As the Executive President of ACTI 2019, Professor Guo Youmin was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a speech in English. Subsequently, Professor Guo Youmin and Professor Jin Chenwang gave symposium lectures entitled "Quantitative measurement in the lung of smokers" and "Imaging manifestations of small airway diseases", respectively. Professor Wang Qiuping served as an Expert Comment in the final young radiologist speech competition.
