From June 16 to June 21, 2018, the 26th Annual Meeting of International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) was held in Versailles Convention and Exhibition Center in Paris, France, attracting 10,000 physicians, biologists, physicists, and engineering technicians from over 100 countries and regions around the world. This conference selected 4 addresses, 5 posters and 7 electronic posters of Medical Imaging Department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Physician Wang Yuan, Physician Niu Chen, Technician Fu Guifeng, and Doctor Li Haining were invited to participate in this meeting and deliver addresses. What's more, postgraduate Zhao Huifang won “Outstanding Research Award” at this meeting.
As the largest scaled, most influential and most authoritative multi-disciplinary non-profit international organization in the field of medical magnetic resonance, ISMRM consists of more than 8,000 clinical physicians, physicists, biologists, engineers and professional technicians of related field from 58 countries and regions, aiming to build a bridge between clinical medicine and magnetic resonance discipline to promote innovation, development and application of magnetic resonance technology in global medical and biological fields.
The topics of addresses of Physician Wang Yuan, Physician Niu Chen, Technician Fu Guifeng, and Doctor Li Haining from Medical Imaging Department of the hospitals were Crosstalk of atrophic trigeminal nerve to abnormal brain structure in idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia,Identifying individual motor function using machine learning prediction based on resting-state fMRI for pre-surgical mapping in patients with brain tumors, Magnetic resonance temperature imaging for nanoparticle-mediated tumor photothermal therapy, and Progressive cortical thinning in specific motor regions in different clinical stages of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, respectively. In addition, Doctor Li Peng and Doctor Ma Xueying made poster and multimedia electronic poster demonstration in the meeting, respectively.
This annual meeting selected a total of 4 addresses from the Medical Imaging Department, including 1 research project winning Outstanding Research Award, which had fully displayed the achievement of Medical Imaging Department in scientific research and enhanced academic influence of the hospital in the field of medical magnetic resonance.
