Recently, Dr.Yang Lin from Vascular Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University was invited to take part in LINC-Asia Pacific conference held in Hong Kong, and gave two themed oral presentations respectively at themain menuand the parallel session.

LINC is an academic meeting of global peripheral vascular intervention and surgical therapy held by the world’s largest vascular disease intervention diagnosis and treatment center Leipizig Interventional Angiography Department together with top vascular centers of five continents,to regularly held academic exchange on global peripheral vascular disease intervention and surgical therapy in five continents throughout the world (Leipizig of Germany, New York of USA, Australia, St. Paulo of Brazil, and Hong Kong of China) every year.

In the keynote speech, Dr. Yang Lin, aiming at aortic dissection and aortic aneurysm, introduced the surgical treatment and interventional therapy progress of our vascular surgery team in aorta disease treatment, as well as the latest research achievements in surgical and interventional treatment of peripheral vascular disease, which was highly praised by the participating international experts. In the topic exchange, according to our hospital’s progress in carotid disease treatment, he introduced the clinical research findings on carotid artery-related diseases, receiving the attentions from the peers from home and abroad. Dr. Yang Lin’s taking part in LINC-Asia Pacific and giving a speech and conducting exchange on wall posters marked that the diagnosis and treatment level of Vascular Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University was geared to international standards.
