During June 10-14 of the local time, experts from Nuclear Medicine Department of our hospital were invited to attend 2017 annual meeting of Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) in Denver, America.
2017 annual meeting of SNMMI was held during June 10-14 of the local time in Denver, America. As the most influential meeting in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in the world, SNMMI is an international academic meeting of the largest size and the highest level of nuclear medicine with the attendance of nearly ten thousand of experts in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging from all over the world. The meeting consists of expert lectures, meeting address and academic poster exhibition for deep discussion about hot topics in the development of present nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. Experts from Nuclear Medicine Department of our hospital were invited for this meeting.
Gao Rui, Associate Professor from Nuclear Medicine Department of our hospital delivered a speech about “The Value of 99mTc-3PRGD2 SPECT/CT in Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma with Negative 131I Whole-Body Scan and Elevated Thyroglobulin Levels”. The research about polypeptide photographic developer for tumor angiogenesis was selected as one of the topics since 2014 in succession. It is about differential diagnosis, clinical restaging and prognosis evaluation of several malignant tumors with the application of 99mTc-3PRGD2 SPECT/CT imaging. Now several research achievements have been published, which reflect scientific achievements of nuclear medicine in basic imaging and clinical transformation in recent years.
Meanwhile, “Assessment of Myocardial Viability and Left Ventricular Function in Patients with Ischemic Cardiomyopathy by Gated DISA Imaging”, the research of Physician Deng Huixing was also selected in poster exchange and Poster Award candidates, which reflected the scientific research strength of our department in nuclide myocardial imaging. In recent years, high attention has been paid to talent cultivation and scientific research, which will promote clinical transformation, deepen international cooperation of scientific researches and improve academic and overall strength continuously.
