From September 22 to September 23, 2017, the 7th Renal Disease Summit & the 6th Japanese Chinese Renal Pathology Conference, organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University and co-organized by Peking University First Hospital and Renal Pathology Society of Japan, was successfully held in Xi'an Grand Barony Hotel. Professor Feng Xueliang, Secretary Ma Xinge and Professor Xue Wujun (Dean of the Department of Renal Disease) attended the opening ceremony.
The forum invited 17 well-known experts at home and abroad, including renal pathology expert Yamanaka Nobuaki of Tokyo Institute of Renal disease, and Professor Shimizu of Nippon Medical School, as well as Professor Hung-Chun Chen of Kaohsiung Medical University, Consulting Physician Liang Zhibang of Prince of Wales Hospital, Professor Zou Wanzhong, Professor Liu Gang and Professor Wang Suxia of Peking University First Hospital, Professor Sun Lin of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Professor Chen Jing of Shanghai Huashan Hospital, Professor Fan Qiuling of the First Hospital of China Medical University, Professor Xu Gang of Tongji Hospital of Tongji University, Professor Xie Yuansheng of Chinese PLA General Hospital, Professor Zhang Beiru of China Medical University, and Professor Yin Aiping, Professor Jiang Hongli, Associate Professor Lu Wanhong, Associate Professor Xie Liyi, Professor Zhang Yali, Professor Hao Yaning, and Associate Professor Lyu Jing of the Department of Renal Disease of our hospital. All these experts made special academic reports focusing on integrated treatment of early renal disease, end-stage renal disease and chronic renal disease. In addition, Chinese and Japanese experts also introduced the basic situation and latest scientific research progress of their own institutions in details, which laid a foundation for cooperation between Chinese and Japanese nephrology experts, broke through the channels of exchange, and provided an exchange and learning platform especially for young physicians. The experts carried out a full exchange in aspects of clinical study and cutting-edge exploration on renal pathology.
