Liu Xiuli graduated from Department of Stomatology of the former Xi 'an Medical University in 1984 and has been working in Department of Stomatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) (formerly Xi 'an Medical University) ever since graduation. She has been engaged in clinical treatment, teaching and scientific research in the field of stomatology. She masters solid basic theoretical knowledge, accumulates abundant clinical experience and shows medical morality. She is capable of completing the work in medical stomatology, surgical stomatology and prosthetics and masters the diagnosis and management of various difficult and complicated diseases. She has accumulated abundant experience and unique insights in tooth cosmetic repair, treatment of traumatic teeth and fixed repair of tooth defects. She also undertakes the teaching tasks for undergraduates and graduates in clinical medicine, and clinical training and guidance tasks for visiting and intern physicians.

Liu Xiuli has published more than 20 papers in Chinese medical journals, undertaken 2 scientific research projects of Shaanxi province, undertaken or participated in 2 scientific research projects of XJTU and the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, hosted 1 new medical technology and edited 3 textbooks, published 1 teaching paper and edited 1 audio-visual textbook of National Health Commission.
