Duan Xiaoyi is a Doctoral tutor, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Radiology. She has presided over the medical, teaching and research work in the PET/CT room. In 1997, she obtained Bachelor degree from the Medical Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University (formerly Xi'an Medical University); In 2002, she obtained Master degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University; In 2007, she obtained Ph.D. from Xi'an Jiaotong University; In 2009-2010, studied and worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center in the United States; She is proficient in functional metabolic imaging and diagnosis of neoplastic diseases, and has unique insights in the diagnosis of neurological dementia diseases.

Academic and scientific achievements
The chief physician Duan Xiaoyi is responsible for 3 national natural science funds, 1 post-doctoral fund, 3 provincial and school-level projects, and 2 hospital-level projects; published more than 40 papers as first author or correspondent author, 15 of which were included in SCI; obtained 3 national invention patents (2 first inventors, 1 third inventor); published a monograph (deputy editor), participated in the preparation of the Ministry of Education's "13th Five-Year Plan" textbook, and participated in the preparation of several monographs.
