Professor Du Hongwen is a Master Instructor. In 1996, she conducted a three-month study of mammography diagnostics at the Breast Center of the Emory University School of Medicine. In 1997, she took the lead in conducting X-ray guided small breast lesion biopsy, small lesions that could not be touched by the breast, and preoperative metal guidewire localization of cluster calcification, making significant contribution tothe diagnosis and treatment of early breast cancer. Since 2001, she has carried out various technical examinations of breast magnetic resonance imaging, applying MRI new technology to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. As the leader of the National Continuing Medical Education （Image Diagnosis and Progress of Breast Disease） project, she has held six national advanced training courses on breast cancer imaging diagnosis, attracting students from more than ten provinces and cities nationwide, which made important contribution to the popularization of breast cancer imaging diagnosis in China. In the past 20 years, she has been mainly engaged in image diagnosis and related pathological research of breast diseases, and has unique insights into the diagnosis of breast diseases and has rich clinical experience. What's more, she was one of the first few members of the Society of Maternal Radiology Professional Committee. At the same time, she was honored to be one of the three members of Shaanxi Province at the time of the establishment of the Medical Imaging Professional Committee of the Chinese Women's Medical Association.

Professor Du Hongwen participated in the development of the 2010 Chinese Medical Association Radiology Branch Mammography Diagnostic Specification and Quality Control Manual, and participated in the 2014 Chinese Journal of Radiology Mammography and Diagnosis Expert Consensus; published more than 30 academic papers in domestic and foreign magazines in the name of the first author. In 2003, she revised and published the monograph on Diagnostic Diagnosis of Breast Diseases; in 2015, she published the fourth edition of Mammography X-ray Teaching Atlas edited by Thieme Publishing House LászlóTabár and Peternal B.D as the main translator. She participated in the compilation of Chinese Clinical Medical Imaging - Mammography Volume, which was published in Peking University Medical Press in 2016.
She was responsible for or participated in a number of projects related to breast disease imaging diagnosis and basic research related to the Shaanxi Science and Technology Research and Development (Development) Project and the National Youth Natural Science Foundation.
