Recently, the inaugural meeting of Professional Committee of Blood Supply Reconstruction for Stroke of Chinese Medicine Education Association was held online. More than 100 physicians from Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Neurology and Department of Interventional Radiology attended the meeting, which was chaired by Xu Shancai, Secretary-General of this Professional Committee and Director of the First Clinical Medical College of Harbin Medical University.
At the meeting, Jia Wannian, Vice President of Chinese Medicine Education Association announced the notification of the establishment of this professional committee, and organized the institutional election of the professional committee. Finally, 34 standing committee members and 10 deputy directors were successfully elected. Professor Han Jianfeng from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was elected as Deputy Director of Professional Committee of Blood Supply Reconstruction for Stroke of Chinese Medicine Education Association.
Wang Yajun, Director of Department of Education of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University delivered the opening speech. Director Wang highlighted that Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University is National Medical Center of Neurological Diseases, shouldering the responsibility of major scientific research, education and training. In addition, he recognized the contribution of Professor Jiao Liqun in the field of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases. He hoped that the establishment of Professional Committee of Blood Supply Reconstruction for Stroke can provide a favorable professional development platform for physicians in this field, and all members can make concerted efforts to build a brand branch of Chinese Medicine Education Association.
Han Jianfeng, M.D., Chief Physician, is the lecture expert of Stroke Screening and Prevention Base of National Health Commission, training expert of Carotid Artery Stent Training Base and Head of National Advanced Stroke Center of our hospital.
He has hosted multiple Key Scientific and Technological Project of Shaanxi Province and Key Research and Development Program of Shaanxi Province, and participated in the draft of 2 Chinese expert guidelines, 2 expert consensuses and 1 expert recommendation. He serves as Member of Cerebrovascular Disease Group of Chinese Society of Neurology of Chinese Medical Association, Director of Youth Committee of Chinese Stroke Association, Standing Committee Member of Cerebral Venous Lesion Branch of Chinese Stroke Association, Standing Committee Member of Youth Committee of Cerebrovascular Disease Branch of Gerontological Society of China, Member of Professional Committee of Vertigo of Chinese Medical Research Association, Member of Professional Committee of Neurological Emergency of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Deputy Chairman of Shaanxi Province Branch of Chinese Chapter of International Union of Angiology.
