On the afternoon of June 14, the opening ceremony of 2022 Shaanxi Province Training Course for Medical Treatment Capacity Improvement Project was held in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). Huang Xin, Director of Hospital Administration Bureau of National Health Commission (online), Yang Lianchang, Deputy Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, Lyu Yi, Vice President of XJTU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Liu Qingguang, Vice President of our hospital, relevant leaders from the Second Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Xijing Hospital, Tangdu Hospital and multiple training bases, trainers and trainee representatives attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was conducted online and in-person, which was chaired by Liu Na, Director of Hospital Administration Bureau of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province. Huang Xin delivered an online speech.
Lyu Yi highlighted that Department of Critical Care Medicine and Department of Infectious Diseases of our hospital served as the training bases of 2022 Shaanxi Province Medical Treatment Capacity Improvement Project. Our hospital attached great importance to the training course, made explicit planning, and appointed department leaders, class trainers and individual trainers. Through comprehensive, systematic and standardized professional training, we will create professional teams for the prevention and control of critical and severe diseases, infection and nosocomial infection in Shaanxi province, and ensure that we can actively respond to emergencies and major public health issues while completing diagnosis and treatment on a daily basis. After the training course, the trainees can master solid theoretical knowledge, clinical thinking, clinical skills, communication skills, teamwork awareness and certain teaching and research capabilities.
Professor Lian Jianqi, the representative of all trainers and Director of Department of Infectious Diseases of Tangdu Hospital, made a statement. As the representative of all trainees, Physician Wang Li from Department of Critical Care Medicine of Xi 'an Chest Hospital gave a promise speech.
Yang Lianchang, Deputy Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, proposed that the political position should be enhanced, the ideology of "emphasis on three perspectives" should be strengthened and high standards and strict requirements should be established. He hoped that heads of all hospitals and training bases will make due contributions to the overall situation of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control in Shaanxi province with a strong sense of dedication and responsibility. Then, Director Liu Na made a summary speech.
2022 Shaanxi Province Training Course for Medical Treatment Capacity Improvement Project is organized by Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, and 8 training bases from five tertiary hospitals including our hospital undertake the training task. After recommendation and selection for over 1 month, 400 medical staff in Shaanxi province participated in this training course. At present, all trainees have been registered.
